The Yellow Mountain Institute was created to provide a quality resource for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Medical Qigong (MQG) instruction and treatment. We strive to integrate TCM and Medical Qigong with western medical knowledge to offer an in-depth and comprehensive understanding of health and the dynamics of the human body. The Yellow Mountain Institute offers acupuncture and Medical Qigong treatments as well as classes and seminars in the United States and Europe.

Our name comes from The Yellow Mountains (Huangshan) that rise in mist shrouded peaks over the Eastern province of An'hui in China. Famous for their spectacular beauty and renowned as a place of power, it is said that the ancient Taoist Masters retreated to the Yellow Mountains to cultivate their Qi and that China's first Emperor (the Yellow Emperor) created medicinal formulas and attained enlightenment within these high cliffs.

Sierra Acupuncture is located in the beautiful Sierra Foothills of California between Sonora and Twain Harte and is the 'home' of the Yellow Mountain Institute. SAIHC offers a wide variety of health services including Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Medical Qigong, Massage and Yoga as well as nutritional and life-style counseling.
